# NYEN stake assurance

> Full nodes that stake NYEN sign each transaction batch within seconds. NekoHash proof of work still chooses the chain, so an assurance holds unless a deeper PoW chain replaces it.

## How it works

1. A batch of transactions goes to the stake committee.
2. Stakers sign. Votes count by stake, not by node.
3. When stake worth two thirds of the committee has signed, a certificate is formed.
4. The certificate attaches to the next NekoHash block.

A deeper NekoHash chain can reverse a stake assurance; Settled is the work-based state.
