## Native tokens (NYEN Token Standard, NTS)

- Built into consensus. No smart-contract code, no deployment, no gas auction.
- Create a token in one flow at https://nyen.cc/mint. Create fee: 10 NYEN (non-refundable). Transfer fee: 0.0002 NYEN.
- Supply up to 9,999,999,999 units, 8 decimals (same as NYEN).
- Optional capped max supply, enforced by consensus.
- Supply starts about 3 blocks after the definition confirms.
- Tokens are active from block 1 of mainnet.
- Metadata (name, description, links) is self-attested and stored on-chain; wallets show a separate curated trust signal.
- Atomic peer-to-peer settlement (offers) is native. A native conversion market (DEX) is planned.

## NFTs

- Supply of exactly 1.
- The artwork file stays off-chain. Its SHA-256 hash is written on-chain as `image_hash`. The browser hashes the file locally; it is never uploaded.
